Reiki - Plant Spirit Workshop - Walk-in Readings - News

This is Purple Loosestrife, a plant I have never encountered before. Its abundance of brightly-colored flowers are said to be very attractive to pollinators. It certainly attracted me! I like to walk through this nature preserve in Massachusetts when I visit my sisters. It was called Initou by the Algonquin meaning "mirror of the spirit". I do feel their spirit there. It is very peaceful and I see many varieties of birds which always delights me. I notice the people I meet there on my walks all hold reverence for this place. I see it in their faces and their kindness if we interact. Nature is powerful.
I am excited to be holding another Plant Spirit/Flower Essence workshop/gathering at Maha Rose on Sunday, August 9th, just before the Leo New Moon on 8/14 (which happens to be a total solar eclipse). We will be calling in Sunflower and Chamomile, 2 plants that vibrate the Leo season themes--confidence, visibility, compassionate leadership, and balancing the ego and emotions. Whitney is not able to host with me this time so I am focusing slightly more on flower essences but also on different ways to build our awareness of plant spirits. I did a weekend retreat on plant communication with Sage Mauer (Whitney's incredible herbalist teacher) in June and it was an exceptional experience that only confirmed my belief in the healing plants offer us. I would love to see you there!

If you are new to Community Reiki, 30-minute in-person sessions are booked ahead and are on a sliding scale from $40-$60 or $25 with an EBT card. The location is in Williamsburg at Grand Street Healing Project.

Tarot Tuesday is my weekly Tarot space for walk-in 30-minute sessions. It takes place at Maha Rose 3:30-5:30. (You can book ahead as well).
